The Store Beyond The Styx by Bakelas, Ford, Thomas, Pearce, Sims, & Guy

In April 2023 Tohm Bakelas flew to England to hang out and do some poetry readings with Mark Anthony Pearce, Danny D. Ford, and Gwil James Thomas. Through Mark, Tohm was fortunate enough to befriend Paul Sims and Seth Guy. Prior to the Bristol reading at D-Unit on April 10, 2023, they went to ASDA in Bedminster to pick up some booze and ice for everyone. What they witnessed outside that store can only be described as a living nightmare, a hellscape of pain and insanity, and the total de-evolution of the human condition. And from that experience they present to you these five poems from five varying perspectives; a wonderful collage by Seth; two incredible illustrations by Danny; as well as a photograph from that evening to commemorate the horror they shared from the experience.
